Who Robert is
Robert Lenzhofer co-founded Hölle Games in Berlin, a bootstrapped studio making slots for the regulated German market under the 2021 State Treaty, licensed by the MGA since 2021 and winner of the first GambleBase Award in 2025. Alongside it he built hinterzimmer.io, an RGS and aggregation platform, relaunched in 2026 as hizi.io: infrastructure intended to lower the barrier for small game studios.
Earlier he co-founded Glück Games in Berlin, which merged with Gamevy in 2018, and began his career at bwin in Vienna from 2000 on early sports betting and casino products. He was a strategic advisor to the inaugural iGaming DACH Summit in Vienna, his home town, and is a regular voice on German regulation and the size of the regulated slots market.
