About the speaker
Tim Heath founded Yolo Group (formerly Coingaming), the company behind Bitcasino.io and Sportsbet.io. An Australian from regional Victoria, he arrived in Estonia in the early 2000s after playing poker at Crown Casino in Melbourne, and built a poker affiliate and skins business to 250,000 players and 300 white-label partners by 2013. When a poker network failed to pay out that year, he pivoted to Bitcoin within weeks. Bitcasino.io launched in 2014 and Sportsbet.io in 2016, paying every withdrawal within one minute regardless of size. The group grew to around 1,000 staff across 11 locations and sponsored Watford, Southampton and Arsenal. He has consulted regulators in Curaçao, the Isle of Man, the UK, Australia and Estonia on crypto in gaming, and now runs Yolo Investments from Abu Dhabi. Fund II reported 51.6% net IRR at 31 December 2025. Fund III, at $250m, was authorised in May 2026.
