What you will hearWhat the room heard
Most people only ever see the press release. This was the hour on everything before it.
Not recorded. Not repeated. Chatham House rule.
“It is so refreshing to finally see and hear someone openly talk about the real challenges of leading a business. This is the kind of stuff you can't get at any conference.”

About the speaker
David McDowell is a pioneer of the iGaming tech sector with a career spanning more than 25 years. An engineer by trade from Michigan, he moved to London to complete his MBA in 1993 and was one of the few in his class to immediately launch a venture, a two-sided marketplace in the earliest days of the internet. In gambling he first founded GameAccount, now GAN, leading its pivot into B2B casino platforms and its IPO in 2013. He later co-founded FSB Technology, a sports betting platform sold to private equity in 2019 and to EveryMatrix in 2024. Today David is an independent consultant and Entrepreneur Mentor in Residence at London Business School, helping founders navigate the intersection of tech, finance and leadership.
