Frank discovered the world of poker while studying at Utrecht University in 2005. After playing fanatically for several years, he found out he wasn't good enough to do it professionally, but he was hooked on the game. Due to his participation on the PokerNews.nl forum, he started working for the Dutch poker site as a reporter. Through PokerNews.nl, he moved on to PokerNews.com, first as a reporter, later as Head of Live Reporting and finally as Head of Content. With the legalization and regulation of online gaming in the Netherlands imminent, he teamed up with Jan de Mol to launch CasinoNieuws.nl in the Netherlands, a news website focused on the legal Dutch gaming market. CasinoNieuws.nl grew to become one of the largest affiliates in the Netherlands. Frank is CEO of CasinoNieuws.nl and also runs websites such as OnlineCasinoGround.nl, BesteCasinoBonussen.nl, and GokkastenXL.nl. He is in the process of launching OnlineCasinoUSA.com, a website focused on the regulated U.S. gambling market. He organizes the Online Casino of the Year election, the leading Dutch award for legal gambling sites.
